Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes what is and is not permitted when using the Kalmira platform. It applies to every user and account, forms part of our Terms of Service, and exists to keep the Service secure, reliable, and lawful for everyone. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy and to ensure that everyone who accesses the Service through your account does the same.

01Your responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account and for the conduct of your team members and any others you allow to use the Service. You must use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms, and you must ensure that the data you process through the Service is handled in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

02Prohibited activities

You must not use the Service to engage in, encourage, or enable any of the following:

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation, or infringing the rights of any person or organization.
  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading communications.
  • Uploading, storing, or distributing malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Harassing, threatening, defaming, or discriminating against any person, or publishing content that is unlawful, abusive, or hateful.
  • Collecting or processing personal data without a valid legal basis or the necessary consents.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Using the Service to store or transmit content that infringes intellectual property or other proprietary rights.

03Security and integrity

To protect the Service and its users, you must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other customers' accounts, or any connected systems or networks.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, except under a program we have expressly authorized.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through denial-of-service activity or excessive load.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by law.

04Fair use of resources and the API

The Service, including our application programming interface (API), is provided for reasonable business use consistent with your plan. You must not:

  • Exceed documented API rate limits, or use automated means to place an unreasonable load on the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that degrades performance or availability for other customers.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties except as permitted by your plan or a written agreement.
  • Circumvent usage limits, seat limits, or other technical restrictions associated with your plan.

05Content standards

You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the data and content you submit to the Service. You must have all rights and permissions necessary to submit that content, and you must not use the Service to store or share content that is unlawful or that you are not authorized to share.

06Monitoring and enforcement

We do not routinely monitor the content you store in the Service, but we may review activity where necessary to operate the Service, to investigate suspected violations, to protect our customers, or to comply with law. If we believe this Policy has been violated, we may take action proportionate to the issue, including:

  • Contacting you to request that the activity stop or the content be removed.
  • Removing or disabling access to content that violates this Policy.
  • Suspending or restricting access to the Service, in whole or in part.
  • Terminating the account in accordance with the Terms of Service, particularly for serious or repeated violations.

Where a violation poses an immediate risk to security, the Service, or others, we may act without prior notice.

07Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, or of any security vulnerability or misuse of the Service, please report it to us promptly using the contact details below so that we can investigate and respond.

08Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
